Welcome to the website for The Sirens of Swank, Whitman College's all-female a capella group. Composed of women from all class levels, we are an eclectic group bound together by our love of singing and the female voice. We sing a variety of music, from rap/hip-hop to country and everything in between.
We love singing for lots of different kinds of events. This year (2003) we have sung in Cordiner Hall, the Reid Ballroom, Whitman College Amphitheatre, the Mellow Bean Café, various residence halls on campus, and in private homes. If you are interested in hiring us to sing for you, please email lymankm@whitman.edu with the date and time and approximately how long you would like us to perform for. We would love to hear from you! For any prospective Sirens out there, we generally hold auditions towards the end of the spring semester, although we have been known to hold auditions mid-year in the past. Unfortunately, that won't be happening this year, but we will have several seniors graduating in 2004, so if you're interested in auditioning for the group, look for advertisements around April or May of 2004.
